The J de Souza Log Grapples are Recognized by their Durability, Resistance and High Performance especially in Brazilian and South American Markets which are available in nearly 50 models divided in 11 families with an area section ranging between 0.18 and 2.0 m². We count on models applicated on Excavators, Backhoes, Forestry Loaders, Cranes, Granties and Traveller Crane Bridges, Loaders, Tricycles, among other possible Base-machines, models for Extremely Severe services and also for lighter services, for handling of short and long logs, coal, ships, firewood, branches and forestry residues.

“R” Serie Log Grapples
Reinforced Version Log Grapples made of certified thick steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness, it is a differentiated product indicated for handling of logs between 1.6 and 6m long in severe operations during 24h a day.

“S” Serie Log Grapples
Standard Version Log Grapple made of certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness, it is a differentiated product indicated for handling of logs between 1.6m and 6m long in light operations during 10 hours a day.

“SR” Serie Log Grapples (Launch)
Super-reinforced Version Log Grapples made of certified extremely thick certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness, it is a differentiated product indicated for handling of logs longer than 5m or entire trees in extremely severe operations during 24h a day.

“E” Serie Log Grapples
Special Version Log Grapples with an American-style construction equipped with two hydraulic cylinders and without a stabilizer arm, it is made of extremely thick certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness, it is a differentiated product indicated for handling of logs longer than 5m or entire trees and feeding of Slashers in extremely severe operations during 24h a day and in larger sizes for large handlings in yards.

“C” e “CE” Serie Log Grapples
In the Coal Version, it is made of extremely thick certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness, it is a differentiated product indicated firstly for handling of logs in Coal Yards, furthermore it passed to be employed in the filling of containers. It is usually built up on a Fixed or Rotating Coal Loader applicated on Wheel Shovel Loaders or Stackers. The “CE” Version is narrower and counts on one cylinder and two stabilizer arms, otherwise the “C” Version is wider and counts on one stabilizer arm and may receive a rotator built-in in the center.

“RE” Serie Log Grapples
Log Grapples for handling of Forestry Residues, Branches among others, it is made of extremely thick certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness.

“SL” Serie Log Grapples
Super-light version Log Grapple made of certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness. It is a product recommended for handling of logs between 1.6 and 4m long, it is indicated for application on Forestry Loaders, Cranes, Backhoes and Tricycles.

“RZ” Serie Log Grapples
This is a serie designed to handle roots, it has a construction similar to the “R” version equipment, however with an internal nail totally closed and the external nail partially closed which makes possible the reduction of root volume or other material to be handled. This version is also made of thick certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness.

“MS” Serie Log Grapples
Serie with a constructive manner for skidding of logs designed for J. de Souza Mini-skidders and for Cam Blunk Carts of agricultural tractors and it is also made of thick certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness.

“RT” Serie Log Grapples
Reinforced Version Log Grapples for slashing made of thick certified steel sheets with a 450 Mpa resistance limit and USI AR 450 steel with a nearly 450 HRB hardness, it counts on teeth in the downer part of the grapple head and hard weldings in the nails which help the skidding of logs. It is a differentiated product indicated for the handling of logs between 1.6 and 6m long in severe operations during 24 hours a day. They are applicated on J de Souza Grapple Saws and also in the Feeding of Slashers.

Shell Grapples The Shell Grapple is an equipment destined to the Chips Handling, it is applicable on Excavators, Forestry Loaders and other Base-machines. We make this equipment available with volumetric capacity of 1 m³ and 3 m³, being possible the development of other sizes according to customer`s need.
